Online stock information
The other day I was chatting with a friend half way round the globe and we were discussing the stock markets in our countries. Yes, I know you don’t usually talk about this with someone so far away, but we are very like minded and it was chatting through the Net, so it was ok.
We were talking about how the investment environment has changed over the years. I remember when my mum was trading stocks some 20 years ago, information of the stock market and its stocks were just through the print channel or the TV. And sometimes, information is exchanged through hear say.
You literally feel like you are this small person in the mass amount of information that is available. Pretty much like this …

But then, nowadays, we are experiencing information overload since we are almost hit with all sorts of information and now, we are in this phase where we do not know what to read or who to believe etc.
While I was telling her about our online stock information here, she was telling me how she subscribes to 8020m.com Stock Research, a company she says has proprietary Research tools to help investors like herself make good stock picks.
And on top of reading its website, she also subscribes to its twitter as well as its FREE Email and SMS alerts. Wow! I think I would have too overloaded if I were her.
She recommended that I should at least subscribe to their FREE stock alerts just to see what they can provide as well as follow them on Twitter.

And this is how one would look like with all the advancement in technology. The ability to pick stocks in our chosen environment.
What about you? How do you obtain information on the stock market?

Ya, online information is overload and many of them are just useless. Interpreting the information is important. I usually read stock market info from forum and some selected blogs with good content.
Btw, the 8020m.com is tracking US market is it?

Mrcoolku – I agree. We need to really read a lot in order to process and use the reliable information we find. And yes, the website monitors primarily US market. I am not sure if we can find an equivalent one here.
